Can Adacolumn® be used in children?

Adacolumn® can be used and, in fact, has been used in children. In this country, we have experience in series of patients who have been treated with Adacolumn® when their inflammatory bowel disease has required control without steroids and the results have been good, practically comparable to those of adults and with a fairly similar safety profile as well. International series with a higher number of patients than those published by Spanish groups support these results. So yes, Adacolumn® is a treatment that can be used in children.
