chronisch-entz\u00fcndlichen Darmerkrankung (CED) beteiligt sind, sind neben Lymphozyten und Monozyten vor allem neutrophile Granulozyten, die zu den wei\u00dfen Blutk\u00f6rperchen (Leukozyten) z\u00e4hlen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Neutrophile werden aktiv aus dem Blut in die Darmschleimhaut rekrutiert und verursachen durch Degranulation und Freisetzung verschiedener Proteinasen und Chemokine die f\u00fcr diese Erkrankung charakteristischen L\u00e4sionen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In mehreren Studien wurde eine starke Korrelation zwischen dem Vorhandensein von Neutrophilen in der Magendarmwand von Patienten mit CED und dem Risiko eines klinischen Rezidivs (eines Erkrankungsschubs) oder von Kolonkrebs gezeigt, was die zentrale Rolle dieser Zellen bei diesen Erkrankungen unterstreicht.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Die Relevanz des Vorhandenseins von Neutrophilen in der Darmschleimhaut von Patienten mit CED zeigt sich auch daran, dass die Bestimmung von Calprotectin im Stuhl prognostischen Aufschluss \u00fcber das Auftreten eines Rezidivs gibt oder die Diagnose einer aktiven Erkrankung zul\u00e4sst, selbst dann, wenn keine Symptome vorliegen. Calprotectin ist das Hauptprotein im Zytoplasma von Neutrophilen und in den F\u00e4zes nachweisbar, solange die Schleimhaut des Darmtrakts von Neutrophilen infiltriert ist. Dies erm\u00f6glicht die selektive Adsorption von Granulozyten (\u00fcber Fc-Rezeptoren) und Monozyten (\u00fcber Komplementrezeptoren) in dem System.<\/p>\n<p>Zus\u00e4tzlich zu diesem \u201emechanischen Effekt\u201c wurde festgestellt, dass Zellulose-Perlen bei Neutrophilen Apoptose (die bei CU reduziert ist) induzieren k\u00f6nnen.
